Coffee to Water Ratio: 1:16 (30g coffee to 480g water)
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Heat water to 205°F (96°C) using your temperature-controlled kettle
- Grind coffee to medium-fine consistency (similar to kosher salt)
- Rinse filter with hot water to remove papery taste
- Add coffee to filter and create small well in center
- Bloom: Pour 60g water in circular motion, wait 30 seconds
- First pour: Add water to 200g total (30 seconds)
- Second pour: Pour to 350g total (1:30 total time)
- Final pour: Pour to 480g total (2:00 total time)
- Total brew time: 4:00-4:30 minutes
